CPIM (Certified in Planning & Inventory Management)

Classes and Materials

CPIM (Certified in Planning & Inventory Management) certification used to require professionals to pass 5 different exams. APICS then transitioned the CPIM certification from 5 exams instead to needing to pass 2 exams.  In early 2023, the CPIM version 8 was introduced, for which you only need to pass 1 exam to become certified.  You do not need a college degree to become CPIM certified.

Our interactive classes are held online with live instruction.  All classes are taught by an APICS Master Instructor with decades of practical experience who spends extra time (beyond class time) helping his students learn the material.  These classes are highly recommended, and include additional content (beyond the standard APICS study materials) that can be on the APICS CPIM exams.  Review sessions are also held at the end of the course, which are particularly helpful for students who missed any of the classes.

CPIM classes meet online once per week, and are offered on weekday evenings (from 6pm – 9pm Eastern Time), weekday daytime and weekends. Classes cover 60 hours of content.

CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)

Classes and Materials

CSCP content is broader than the CPIM (Certified in Production & Inventory Management) courses and is covered in one course. More information about the contents of the CSCP course can be found at: CSCP contents

You do not need a college degree to become CSCP certified.  

CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification preparation classes cover 48 hours of content. These classes are highly recommended and include additional content (beyond the standard APICS study materials) that can be on the APICS CSCP exam.  All classes are taught by an APICS Master Instructor with decades of practical experience who spends extra time (beyond class time) helping his students learn the material. 

Our CSCP classes are very interactive ONLINE sessions with live instruction.  Review sessions are held at the end of all courses, which are particularly helpful for students who missed any of the classes.

Lean Enterprise

Our Akron Area APICS Chapter is pleased to offer the APICS Lean Enterprise Workshop Series, a seven-module course designed to meet the demand for expert knowledge in the marketplace.
